"And we're here. Thank you Jesus", first words by the 1st batch of WYD pilgrims from the Church of the Visitation, Seremban upon arrival at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. After 5 hours transit in Amsterdam, and another 2 and half hour flight, they finally arrived at John Paul II International Airport Krakow. At the airport they met the delegates from the Malacca Johor Diocese who together will spend the next few days staying with their respective foster families in the Diocese of Sosnowiec before the actual World Youth Day.

Highlights on Day 1 - 19 July 2016
Pilgrims from Church of Visitation will stay with their respective foster families.
The Divine Mercy devotion prayer at St.Katherine of Alexandria church in Wolbrom.
Visiting the Norbertine's Sisters Monastery in Imbramowice.
Attend Mass and followed by camp fire before returning to the parish for supper with foster families.

Fr. Lawrence Ng, CDD together with Fr.Adrian Matthew and Fr.Patrick Tyoh concelebrated mass with main celebrant Polish priest Fr. Steven at the monastery. The nuns living in the monastery also joined in the celebration of the Eucharist. |
