In response to fundraising for the Lenten campaign, flea market cum breakfast sales, was organized by Visitation Recycling team and Praise Dance Group in collaboration with Women Ministry and VSK on the 2/4/2023; Palm Sunday. After each mass, chatter and laughter filled the air at the canteen and at the flea market booth.
Parishioners enjoyed with steaming hot tea/coffee, milo and also a choicy breakfast of sumptuous home made food and delicacies. The specialty of the day was homemade Siu Yuk by Fr. Philip Tay . It was the 1st to be sold out with requests for more.
Many were seen packing extras to carry home. Everything was sold out!The flea market booths also drew a happy crowd who gladly carried away their bargained items, especially toys and kitchen ware.
The breakfast sales made a nett profit of Rm8001.45 . The entire sum will be channelled to the AOHD Lenten Campaign.
