On Friday 15/3/2024, Visitation Recycling team joined hands with Visitation praise dance members together with parish priest Fr. Xavier Andrew visited two non-profit organizations .
The 1st was Pusat Jagaan Orang Kurang Upaya Si Putih, a home for special needs children. The volunteers brought along provisions, food items and music to them.
Though the children couldn't verbally communicate with us, it was plain to see on their smiling faces, that they were excited.
Next, we visited Pusat Jagaan Orang Tua Weng Da. Provisions and food items were given to them too. The elderly folks there were all smiling and greeting us. A few even sang along with us. From heartfelt chats to uplifting songs, we shared precious moments at both homes.
I believe we volunteers, all felt a sense of gratefulness and joy in the simplest way of visiting.
