IT’S BACK!
Coming October 10th, the Archdiocesan Mental Health Ministry together with the Malaysia Mind-Body Medical Practitioners Association (MBMPA) will be co-organizing this year’s World Mental Health Day, with the focus on Care for Caregivers!
This year, the focus is towards the needs of the caregiver, who are often overlooked in the dynamic. The caregiver not only consists of those who do it professionally but to everyone who provides care to someone, whether they may be a mother, a father, a child to their parents, a spouse, or even a guardian.
All caregivers will go through their struggles oftentimes masked by their responsibilities to look after their loved ones. Therefore, in this year’s World Mental Health Day, we aim to have their voices heard and to equip them with the necessary skills and strategies to carry forward with their compassion-bound duties.
