Visitation Senior Parishioners Fellowship (VSPF) Christmas Fellowship
The VSPF Christmas Fellowship was held on Sunday 8 December 2022 at 4.30pm at the Visitation Church Canteen. Fr Kenneth, Fr Nicholas and Fr George graced the occasion. The program began with an Opening Prayer and The Visitation Rally Song. This was followed by tea, chit chat and fellowship. Members were entertained by Allan Wooden and his talented nephew with Christmas Carols and old favourites. After tea, members participated in a game called Statue Dance. This was followed by The Jesse Tree Members looked at the symbols on the Jessie Tree and took turns to recollect events in the Holy Bible that led to the birth of Jesus Christ. Fr Kenneth in his overall summary of the Jesse Tree, drew nembers to look beyond Christmas, to the Death of Jesus, His Resurrection and Ascension into heaven and Jesus Christ's Second Coming. The program continued with Secret Santa where each member brought a gift and received a gift in exchange. Fr Kenneth presented the gift to each member. The fellowship continued with the singing of Christmas Carols. The Angelus was prayed at 6pm and the Fellowship came to an end at 6.30pm. It was a joyful experience.
